A lot of cruise ships can take you to Prince Edward Island. From small luxury ships like Pearl Seas Cruises to family friendly Royal Caribbean Cruises. Sailing into port is an incredible way to first view the Island.
August is the best time to go as the island comes together to celebrate the famous books by Ms. Montgomery. Someone dresses up like Matthew and give visitors carriage rides around the island much like the one Anne would have taken when first arriving. There is also a community play about Anne and her adventures. This is a must for all Anne of Green Gables fans.

The Royal Clipper is a sail boat inspired by the famous tall ships from the 19th century, much like the one Kit would have sailed on from Barbados to Connecticut. With several roundtrip Barbados itineraries, you can explore the beautiful island of Barbados before going onboard The Royal Clipper to relive Kit's life onboard the ship. It is an incredible experience that will change your life.

Gather your girlfriends to enjoy the Italian coast together. A home will be arranged for you to spend a week or more with beautiful wisteria all around. You can choose to have help (maid service, cook, chauffer, etc.) or just your party in the home. It's the ideal way to relax, rejuvenate and connect the same way Lottie, Rose, Scrap and Mrs. Fisher do.

Mma Precious Ramotswe loves Botswana and has a way of making the reader love it too. A great way to see Botswana is on a big game safari. You will get amazingly close to lions and elephants, you will see cheetahs racing across the savanna and at night you can study the green glow of a hyena's eyes. Other amazing sites include the Kalahari Desert, Okavango Delta and Victoria Falls. This unforgettable vacation is made for all ages.

This book might be a little intense for some readers. Although originally written in Norwegian (I think), Tiina Nunnally does a soulful job translating it into English making this 1000 page saga a must read. In the book, Kristen does not like sailing but you are not Kristen so the vacation paired with this book is onboard a Viking ship sailing around the beautiful Norwegian Fjords. This is a life changing experience you will treasure.

Although you cannot actually visit Middle-earth or Rivendell you can visit Hobbiton in New Zealand. Most of the filming for the Lord of the Rings series was done in New Zealand and you can tour the country seeing the beautiful scenery while reliving scenes from the books. New Zealand is a beautiful country especially for those seeking high-adventure. Besides touring Lord of the Rings sites, you can also hike, bike, fish, sail, raft and eat to your hearts content.
This eight book series is about sister who were all adopted by Pa Salt from different parts of the world. Each year, our book club will visit where each sister is originally from. For example, book 1, The Seven Sisters, is about Maia who was adopted from Brazil, so in 2025 we are going to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to see where Maia is from. The details of the trip are still being worked out and will be posted as soon as some decisions have been made.
